In this dream, I still hadn’t sold the 1982 Mercedes. I was working on a diesel car that, although it seemed like the Mercedes and was interpreted as the Mercedes in the dream, was in fact an old Wagoneer we had owned a long time ago. I was working on it with the idea of selling it, but I was still halfway through and there were things to do. I was testing something related to diesel fuel and changing some belts.

The curious thing about the dream was that the car belts did not move parts of the engine, but were directly connected to one of the wheel axles and were the ones that pushed the wheel to make the car roll. Imagine the engineering. Then, I saw a kind of lever that went in and out, that was leaking fuel. I realized I had never noticed that before, so I pushed the lever, and the car began to recirculate the fuel spontaneously as if it had a filter in the tank. The fuel was going through some plastic tubes, it was been collected and returned to the tank, recirculating it to filter and clean it.

There was a kind of square container where you could see the fuel passing by as if it were a river. You could put your hand in the container and feel the fuel. I realized it was recirculating and didn’t know how to stop it. I had to push the lever back, but then, during the recirculation, garbage started coming out of the fuel: a piece of old hose, cut and rotten, an old suitcase lock, and one of those safety pins that are put on baby clothes. I started pulling out all the garbage and wondered how the car had been running with all that inside without getting clogged.

My hands were covered in fuel, which didn’t smell much and was light in color. Trying to clean myself, I dirtied my pants. Amid all this, I realized there was a small door on the left side of the engine compartment. I opened it and saw some stairs leading to a compartment above the car that I had never discovered.

I climbed the stairs and found a complete RV (recreational vehicle). There was a dining table, a large dining room with six chairs, kitchen counters, two bathrooms, and a sitting area. The length of the RV was like five RVs together and also opened outwards, like those special RV models. On these sides, there were entire rooms. We also found a closet inside which we discovered different types of oil the car used, as well as parts, spare parts, and tools to repair it (and to think of all the trips to the store to find specific things for repairs and they were right there in that closet).

There were served food plates all over the place, which looked like they had been there for a long time, as well as old sauce jars and dirty glasses. Everything seemed unused for a long time, so there were rats.

Seeing all that and calculating the potential it had, we changed our minds and, instead of selling the car (which was why we were fixing it), we decided to clean it. To do this, my sisters-in-law, friends, children, my wife, and I came over.

Of course, afterward, we sat down to discuss the plans for the huge party we were going to have in that place.
